
The 68th edition of the Daytona 500 is set to host 45 contenders, but the NASCAR Cup Series drivers are not the only participants taking to the track this week. Daytona will also play host to the inaugural races of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS), the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (formerly known as Xfinity), and the ARCA Menard’s Series.
This year’s Daytona 500 entry list includes eight past champions of the race and seven former NASCAR Cup Series titleholders. There are eight open entries competing for four remaining spots on the grid, while Jimmie Johnson has secured a spot through an Open Exemption Provisional to guarantee that 41 vehicles participate in the race.

NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series ‘United Rentals 300’ Entry List
A total of 42 drivers and their teams have registered for the NOAPS season-opener, competing for one of the 38 available spots on the starting grid. Notably, Carson Hocevar, who is taking on multiple roles, is the sole Cup driver participating in this particular event.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ‘Fresh From Florida 250’ Entry List
The NCTS season opener sees a robust lineup with 44 entries, out of which 36 trucks will grab a place in the race. This event marks the return of veteran driver Tony Stewart, the introduction of the Kaulig Ram initiative, and features several full-time Cup drivers such as Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Michael McDowell, John-Hunter Nemechek, and Hocevar. Additionally, a new provisional has been established to ensure that at least four Ram entries secure a spot in the race.
ARCA Menard’s Series ‘General Tire 200’ Entry List
The ARCA lineup is impressive, featuring 50 entries, with 40 cars set to qualify for the 2026 season opener.
