
Ralf Schumacher, the former Formula 1 racer and current commentator for Sky Sports Germany, has joyfully revealed his engagement to partner Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne.
The couple went public about their relationship in July 2024 and have been together for three years. In a heartfelt post shared in October 2025, Schumacher expressed, “Today marks a significant occasion. For three years, I have been almost inseparable from the love of my life. It’s truly wonderful to nurture such a robust and affectionate bond in life.”
Both Schumacher and Bousquet-Cassagne have kept their relationship relatively low-key, preferring to maintain a level of privacy.

In an Instagram update, the pair confirmed their plans to marry, stating, “We are thrilled to announce that Ralf Schumacher and Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne are engaged.”
They expressed gratitude for the outpouring of warm wishes they received. The couple requested that no further personal information be shared, emphasizing a desire for privacy during this special time.

Schumacher’s ex-wife, Cora, who he was married to for 13 years, extended her best wishes to the couple, stating, “My partner Steven and I wish Ralf and Étienne all the happiness in the world.” She also mentioned to a German outlet that the couple is considering a three-day wedding celebration in Saint-Tropez come May, although this detail has yet to be officially confirmed.
During his illustrious F1 career from 1997 to 2007, Schumacher secured six Grand Prix victories. He raced for notable teams such as Jordan, Williams, and Toyota, notching up 27 podium finishes, six pole positions, and accumulating a total of 329 career points.
