Mastering Hytale Console Commands for Enhanced Gameplay

Hytale console commands to give yourself any item, teleport around the map, and swap between game modes

Engaging in Hytale, whether solo or while navigating a server with friends, can be transformed into a vibrant arena for creativity through the utilization of console commands. These commands allow players to manipulate their gaming environment, though they can seem complex due to the various modes and the game’s current phase of early access.

When creating a world that accommodates Hytale’s commands, there are no specific settings you must select. Most commands function similarly in both Exploration and Creative Modes, yet some creative commands may not provide the desired effects for users who prefer a more direct method of customization.

This guide is tailored specifically for those playing in Exploration Mode. My gameplay typically begins in one of the easily accessible procedurally generated Exploration worlds, after which I alternate between Creative Mode and Exploration with admin privileges. Below, you will find a collection of essential Hytale console commands for your reference.

Utilizing Hytale Console Commands

To start, you need to grant admin permissions on your server. Press the ‘Enter’ key to access the console commands through Hytale’s in-game chat, and assign yourself or others admin rights to unlock the full range of tools available. Remember to replace any placeholders or brackets with actual player names or specific values.

Admin Permission Commands

  • /op self – Assigns or revokes admin rights for the user.
  • /op add [player name] – Grants admin permissions to the specified player.
  • /op remove [player name] – Revokes admin permissions from the specified player.

Admins can type /help to access a list of commands, subcommands, and additional options.
